Tonight I tried blogging using the Blog Press app on my iPad to see if it really works. After 4 failed attempts and it continually shutting off and erasing what I typed, I've given up and back at the computer. So much for catching up on my DVR whilst I blog. BOO!!
1. Because blog posts feel weird without a picture, here's a little collage for you I made on the iPad. I love all the photo editing apps they have for the iPhone and iPad. Seriously cool stuff. But I need to pull out my camera and snap some current photos to spice up my daily posts.
2. Got four Christmas cards in the mail today bringing our total so far to 8. Keep 'em coming! Love seeing all the cards every December and catching up with friends and loved ones. I'm sending out a little over 100 this year - seems like a lot to me. How many do you send out? My recipient list grows a little each year too, but I feel bad and don't want to take anyone off the list...
3. Didn't accomplish much on the home front today. This cold had a lot to do with that. But I did chauffeur kids to school, piano, basketball practice, and Young Womens, so that's a victory in and of itself I say!
4. Excited to start my Christmas shopping tomorrow. Yes people I said START! I know exactly what I'm buying and with the 4 present rule it should be quick and easy. The hard part will be finding a good hiding place once I bring it all home. We've already had a problem with snooping this year...........
Taylor bought a Lotsa Bear at Disneyland for Tanner for Christmas. We managed to smuggle it home undetected and it was hiding in my closet inside some bags - not visible by just looking. On Sunday while I was napping and Andrew was at tithing settlement, Mason went into my closet, opened the bag and then proceeded to show Tanner the bear and tell him it was for him!!! Keep in mind that Mason and Zach were already in trouble that day for their behavior, so this was the final straw for me. I was so mad because Mason knew better than that. Let's just say those boys spent the majority of their Sunday in their room. Taylor felt so bad that the present was spoiled. Tanner was crying because he wanted the bear. Taylor put it back and somehow calmed Tanner down and got him to forget about it. Crisis averted for now.
And of course who could forget Zach's classic snooping episode of 2007? Go back and read this post for that story.
So it seems I will need to be better at hiding stuff this year. I've thought about stashing stuff in one of the casitas or the garage? Maybe I just hurry and wrap them? Or better yet, I hide them in the laundry room. There's so many clothes they'd never find them in there!

If you want to trade garages for hiding presents I'm totally in! My kids aren't quite to the snooping stage yet but you are welcome to stash your stuff here!
