December Daily - Day 8

My mind is blank.  Can't think of much to say.  This may be the shortest post of the month....

Panic set in this afternoon when I realized the kids only have one more week of school before Christmas break.  December is happening way too fast.  However it seems super slow to Tanner.  He asks me EVERYDAY if it's Christmas yet.  He's so disappointed when I tell him no.  Then he asks why Christmas is taking so long to get here.  Sorry buddy.  Tanner asks a lot of questions.

Going on day 3 with this cold.  It's now progressed to the stage where I've lost my sense of taste.  That can be a good thing and a bad thing :)

I read an online article today about forgetfulness.  It listed 9 reasons why people forget things.  The number one reason?  If may be caused by low levels of thyroid hormone or anemia.  Well, I have both of those - DOUBLE WHAMMY!!   No wonder I walk into a room and instantly forget what I went in there for.  Maybe that's why my mind is so blank and I can't think of anything to blog about.

My hubby keeps asking me what I want for Christmas.  I could give him a long list of ideas, but it's hard to pinpoint just one thing I would like more than anything else.  But I hate having to put needs on my Christmas list - doesn't seem fair.  Like for instance: we could really use a new vacuum, but I don't want that to be my Christmas present.  I want my Christmas gift to be something personal, something fun, something I would enjoy.  Does that sound selfish?

What are you asking for this Christmas?

NO - that is not selfish. IT'S CHRISTMAS!!! Get what you want.

Sorry about the cold and the forgetfulness. I don't have either of those things, but I forget everything too. I forgot to take Andrew to preschool the other day. SO what's my excuse? ;)

I'm totally with you on the christmas list thing. It seems like I always put needs on my list, because it's hard to think of something that I really want that doesn't seem selfish over the things we need.

I asked for a new camera, or at least a new lens. I'm hoping that Santa is feeling generous this year:)
