Most afternoons, this is the typical scene around here. A tired 4 year old, laying on the couch, fighting off the urge to sleep. This particular day I asked him to clean up his toys, but he decided a nap was a better idea. He fought long and hard, but finally succumbed a few hours later.

he's doing the 12 mile stare - totally zoned out. it's funny how they can fight sleep at that age and we can never get enough.
Oh so cute! My 4 year old quit naps altogether this past fall. Such a sad day when that happened! As far as making your picture bigger...I know you can resize them in the html part or when I'm composing I am just able to click extra large for size on the image--not sure if you're able to do that? Sorry I'm not more help! And sorry I did not have you on my list, not sure I got the memo! :) You are now on my list :)
Oh man! He looks zoned out. I can relate. ;)
Is this the pre-sleep zoned-out glaze that comes just before the eye lids droop? Ha! If so, you caught it!
As for making your pix larger go into the html side of posting. In the actual content of your post you will see the numbers that indicate the size of your photo. It should have an image size such as height 417 width 624. This is where you can go in and put in your own sizes by just deleting those numbers and putting in your own. For example, on my blog, I have no side margins so I can make mine as wide as 925 x 557 or something close to that. You won't be able to go as wide bc you have the column on the right but you could get definitely get them to go wider up to a point. When you edit them for your blog, you want to go into your editing software where you can find the words "resize image". I set the proportions to a fixed scale, so if I put in 925 it will give me the matching height number. In blogger I would go into the html and just plug in those numbers. You will have to play with the width of your photos just to see how wide you can post them before you see them chopped off bc of the right column. Once you know how wide you can go you can just use that ratio formula for every photo! Geez, I hope this makes sense!
My 4 year old has the same nap/no nap problem! Your little guy does look so tired in this image. In some ways too big for a nap, but still needing one because he is not that big yet. They grow up way too fast...
This is classic! :-)
Zone out...so cute. I could never understand how they didn't want to take a nap. I would have jumped at the chance!!
I can relate---there is always something better to do than pick up after yourself--even as adults! :) Beautiful boy---I love his eye lashs!
Perfect little tired fighting a nap eyes.
Cute, cute, cute! My heart is melting and I wanna go snuggle my 4 year old now!!
