I KNOW, I KNOW---- it's been awhile. I didn't mean to neglect our blog during the holidays - in fact I had the exact opposite intention. I wanted to post all about our adventures during the last two and a half weeks of the year --- crazy snowstorm in Vegas, quick trip to Utah, crazy snowstorm in Utah, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day occurrences, New Years, a look back on 2008, etc, etc..... Turns out I wasn't alone as many of you took a blogging vacation as well so I don't feel as guilty!
The days leading up to Christmas were crammed with errands and things to do, a whirlwind trip to Utah and 2 straight nights of wrapping until the wee hours of the morning. Once Christmas hit, I just decompressed and we hung out at home as a family for the weekend. The week after Christmas I dubbed my "countdown to clean" where I tackled some clutter and cleaning projects around here so I could start the new year off with the house somewhat cleaner and Christmas decor all put away.
I have lots of stories and pictures to share, but for now I just had to take off the holiday background, turn off the Christmas music and let y'all know we're alive and well and looking forward to the new year!

Yep, we wanted a clean house for the new year. However, we haven't even taken the Christmas tree down. So much for that resolution.
I had the same intentions as you. Just too many other things going on to actually blog about them. Glad you had a nice Christmas and New Years.
