Greetings from South Weber

Just a quick hello......

All those who know where South Weber is, raise your hand!
South Weber is a great little farming community nestled here at the mouth of Weber Canyon, surrounded by more well known cities such as Riverdale, Roy, Layton, and Ogden. This place is quite nostalgic for me since it's the same place I came every summer when I was growing up. It's changed a lot since then, but it's like coming home for me.

We made it to Mom and Dad's late Friday night and the drive up wasn't bad.......Taylor got a little worked up about the trip, afraid of getting car sick again - but it was smooth sailing the whole way up. (Zach kept his new blanket far from Taylor just in case!)

It's been a nice couple of days. We spent Saturday hitting some local favorite spots: (Sportsmans Warehouse, Arctic Circle, and Rumbi Island Grill) doing some shopping, and riding the 4 wheeler. We had to say goodbye to Andrew on Sunday but he'll be flying back up for the holiday weekend.

I've hardly seen the kids - once we get here they forget all about me. They're running around with their cousins either outside playing, in the basement playroom, or upstairs playing video games. They only come and find me when they get too hungry.

Well, more to come later......but for now I'm going back to my vacation :)

OOOO! I like the part about hardly seeing your kids. I guess I need to take a trip to Utah to take advantage of that. Yes, I too know where South Weber is. Alan is from Ogden, so we know that neck of the woods.

Poor Andrew....Home alone....Just work, work, work.....

I know, I've been alone now for 2 weeks....down to last pair of garments and the milk has gone bad. We need our women.

What a nice vacation! I love that the kids can go a just play and entertain themselves! And Arctic Circle . . . I'd almost forgotten about that lovely establishment. I think that was the first place I ever had fry sauce- one of the things you can't really find here in Vegas.

Ahhhh,South Weber now that's a hot spot especially compared to North Weber, I don't think anyone would vacation there. Just kidding can't say that I know I've been there, although I'm sure I've driven through. Sounds like a good vacation if everyone is occupied and not hanging around your nerves. Like they say, If you can't beat them- join them in South Weber!!
