Totally Random

It's official.....I'm a lousy blogger. I've only posted once a week lately and I'm sorry for that. I always intend to post more often and share what's going on with us, but I have a hard time coming up with things to talk about. I guess I should do my posts BEFORE I read other blogs though, because they make me feel so dumb! I guess this post will be kind of random...

First of all I love, love, love this time of year. Watching football games, the Halloween decor in the stores, being able to open the windows. The weather is finally cooling off and I can walk outside without melting. It puts me in the mood to go in the kitchen and make a big pot of soup! These past few days have been so nice and we're starting to dig out the long pants. However, in doing so it has become very apparent that there are some of us in this family that are in desperate need of some new clothing! Mason is the worst off, poor little guy. I went to put long pants on him and though they still fit in the waist, they look like capri pants! He has no socks except church ones, no tennis shoes and not a single long sleeve shirt. So one thing on my list this week is a trip to Target to find him something decent to wear when we leave the house.

Andrew left earlier tonight to drive up to Baker, Nevada (ever heard of it?) to go deer hunting... so I'm all alone for a little over 24 hours. He went with his brother David and Andrew has a doe tag and some guy he talked to at some ranch up there said it should be real easy for him to shoot one. If I'm lucky, by this time tomorrow night I will have a fresh deer carcass in my kitchen! I was surprised when he brought one home last year--it actually didn't have much of a foul smell to it at all. I will definitely take pictures if he brings one home tomorrow. This is a shot from last year.

I'm finding it very hard to believe that my baby, my little girl is turning 8 years old on Friday and getting baptized on Saturday. I will have to scan a baby picture of her and post it. Andrew pointed out something to me that is really scary---that we have less than 10 years with Taylor in the house!

Heidi! You are a GREAT blogger!!

LOVE the pictures of the kids! Auri also has no chance of properly fitting her pants either. I just can't wait until she fits into a 4 so we can go to old navy and get "slim" pants! It'll still be a while.

Taylor is beautiful! Happy 8th birthday to her!

Your kids are SO cute! By the way haven't you popped that baby out yet?! I love this time of year as well. It really is my favorite time of the year. I LOVE Halloween and we go almost everyday and walk down the Halloween isles. I am noticing though that Lilly doesn't like it much. Anyway about The Office! I can't believe you don't watch it. Hiedi you would think it was hilarious and you need to make room for it on your DVR....SERIOUSLY! What else do you watch by the way, just to give me some ideas of what else is good this fall?

nice pictures but poisoning zackies mind with the byu stuff will come back to haunt you. he'll probably get thrown out of several church basketball games in the wonderful tradition of his grandfather, father, and uncles. just keep believing...

To Jill--I thought you'd like the hat. It's either wear that hat or get shot in the head.

To my Brother Mark--I once had a technical foul called on me during warm ups before a church basketball game because the ref was an idiot and I told him. He said he didn't want any trouble out of me during the game and I told him to shut up. He was a convert. I wonder if he's still active. :)

that is exactly why i dislike the scouting program. wanna-be officials with whistles telling you you can't park here. it they could they would call a tech on you and sit you in a tree.
