After church yesterday, Zachary sat down at the kitchen table with a big drawing pad and started writing. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "I'm writing down what I'm thankful for." When he was done he proudly displayed it on the fridge. Hopefully you can read his writing, but in case you can't it says:
I am thankful for: my house, my mom and dad, my sister, my brother, Jesus.
It can't get much simpler than that!!
Today I'm thankful for quick doctor visits. After waiting two and a half hours at the doctor's office last week before having to reschedule in disgust, I was happy this morning that I was in and out in 45 minutes! (I think doctor's offices need call ahead seating like they have at restaurants.)
And for anyone that's wondering.......the ultrasound results showed that the baby's measurements and my fluid levels are in the 80th percentile. My doctor said it's on the high end, but he's not too surprised given my history and that I will just have an 8 or 9 pound baby again. Yeah for me!!

Yea for quick doctor visits! (But really - 45 minutes is still kinda long...) but glad to hear all is well with baby boy (do you have a name yet?)!
I can't stand waiting for doctors appointments. Especially when having a baby you are so excited to go to the doctor and you wait very patiently and then they weigh you and measure your stomach and send you on your way and you wonder why you were even so excited to go in the first place.

Are you going to Dr. Groom by the way? Because that sounds a lot like my experiences with Lilly, especially the one where you wait for two hours and then get rescheduled. I was always SO mad when I left his offices!

Waiting in the doctors office is the worst! I always had to go to the bathroom, but didn't want to go since I was going to have to pee in a cup again. Then with Carly I learned- just go and do the sample early- I'm a slow learner! The Thankful note is great!!
Get the recipe's I've been sending to Jenny- they freeze well and then you'll be set for the baby to come! You really should get a few people to do a dinner swap, it's great!
Awww, so sweet.
I once waited in my OB's office for at least 6 hours! They did tell me when I first got there that I could leave and come back in an hour.
