It's a No Go on the Doe

Andrew is a disappointed hunter. We're sad to report that he came home late last night empty handed. He said that he had a good shot of a doe first thing that morning, but his gun wasn't ready to shoot yet. After awhile he and David went to a different area so David could scout for his upcoming hunt. Andrew said they came back later so he could hunt some more, but still nothing. His hunting average isn't looking too good! I think he's gone the last 4 years and has only bagged a deer once. I should have Andrew post about it---he is a much better storyteller than I am.

I would like to clarify that we saw lots of deer. But as happens when you have a doe tag, you see only bucks. We saw some huge bucks. It's OK. I still haven't finished my deer off from last year--anybody want some venison salami?

Oh, that's too bad. I think the deer know which you have a licence for...

So sad on the deer! I can't stand the thought of eating deer- I know how can I eat a nasty cow, pig or chicken?!
The kids are getting so big- any name ideas for this new baby?

Okay Hiedi you have to attempt to make rolls from scratch. I can even give you the recipe we used. Granted they would be whole wheat rolls, but they are still DELICIOUS. It is so NAT hard. I never attempted it because it seemed like to much work and too hard. Both are false impressions. My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the bread as well which I didn't expect. Maddy actually asked for a slice packed for her snack at school today! If you want the recipe I will give it to you and you CAN do it!

That is a beautiful picture of Taylor. The other pictures are cute as well. Hey, Andrew, I went to a BYU football game in the stadium and it was homecoming. We sang the fight song. Fall in Utah is way better than fall in Vegas!!

Angela--when you convince Ken he needs to hire in-house counsel, then we'll move up there. Fall in hell is probably better than fall in Vegas! --Andrew
