It takes a lot of work to make myself presentable everyday. These are some of the tools I use to help make that happen. I'm definitely not one of those natural beauty types. Makeup was invented for women like me, and thank goodness for that! I never leave the house without 'my face on,' mostly so I don't frighten people or scare little children. I don't even wash it off before bedtime (GASP!)
If there was a natural disaster and I had 10 minutes to grab my most prized possessions, you better believe my makeup bag would be one of them!!

I used to do that, but now that I'm old no one cares what I look like so I've become much more laid back in my preparations.
But a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.

I never wash off my makeup before bed, either. Shame on me. I justify it in that I hardly wear any and I buy that mineral stuff so it's supposed to be okay, right?
This made me smile. I had an great aunt that actually put make up on when she went to bed just for those emergency situations!
