Linked 52 | Family

I married into an amazing family.  I really lucked out in that department.  During the week of Fourth of July, we had the opportunity to spend three and a half days with my husband's family at the first ever Frank & Nancy Dixon Family Reunion.

Frank and Nancy Dixon (my husband's parents) have 6 children, who all married awesome people and had 35 grandchildren. Some of those grandchildren are grown with families of their own now, and the current total of great grandchildren stands at 23, with one on the way.

It was a great reunion (my first ever) and all 65 of us had a wonderful time together talking, playing, singing, eating, laughing, sleeping, and enjoying each others' company.

Some grandchildren live back east and couldn't make it, so this isn't even everyone!

Families are Forever, and I'm so blessed to be a part of this one :)

You are blessed! My family wasn't always small, but in my older years it has become smaller and smaller. I always dreamed of having a BIG extended family. What a fun time to have with your family!

I always wanted our family to do something like this! Great family photos, love the tess. I got to do a photo session for family reunion last year on a farm---all of them wore dairy tees. Gotta love family!

YAYYYYY! I was born into a big family (My parents had 8 of us, 11 grandchildren & 1 on the way). I know, I am blessed with great in-laws, too! My boyfriend's family is different, they're only 2 of them & no grandchildren on their side. I love both families, mine & his. It really is a beautiful wonderful time. Sometimes, I miss all the chaos & loud sounds in a house.

I love this photo. We have been considering t-shirts, too for family events/reunions.

How awesome is this?! I love it. I love big families and I LOVE family reunions. Some people might think they are dorky but we had one 2 years ago and I keep trying to get stuff together to plan another. Shirts are great. Picture is great. Love the family shot.
