Linked 52 | Looking in

Saturdays are usually busy for us.  We hardly ever have a free Saturday with no commitments.  Well last Saturday was one of those rare days we had nothing scheduled.  Rather than waste it around the house, we decided to do something together as a family.  We took full advantage of the cooler weather and headed out to see Hoover Dam.  We took a dam tour, got dam souvenirs, and took a lot of dam pictures (sorry, I couldn't help myself with the dam jokes :) )  I thought some of the pictures I took fit in well with the theme this week of looking in.

The kids loved looking into the water to look for fish.  The older two kids were so worried every time Tanner was close to the edge.  Check out the death grip Zachary has on Tanner's arm in this picture.

I admit, I had a very hard time taking this one.  I had images in my head of dropping my camera and watching it plummet to the bottom and shatter into a million pieces.

Hope you enjoyed my dam blog post :)

Check out these ladies to see their interpretation of this week's theme:

Dam, you did a great job of capturing some dam good photos. ( yes, that was fun)
I have never had the opportunity to see the Hoover Dam, but I sure would like to now.
(I always have to have the strap around my neck.)

I did enjoy your dam blog post. I also would have been paranoid that I was going to drop my camera. I'm always paranoid that something is going to happen to it. Great photos. Love the mountain and the bridge. :)

Okay, it may be a week too late. But I really love these dam pictures. The one of you looking down almost gave me vertigo. The pictures were great.
