Thankful Thursday

Kristin posted a Thankful Thursday post and asked what we're thankful for.  I don't mean to copy but it's a good excuse for a new blog post, plus it never hurts to count our blessings and thank Heavenly Father for even the littlest of things :)

So today, I'm grateful..............

1. this week is almost over.  Our days are usually busy, but every once in awhile it seems we're hit with tons of stuff all on the same week.  That was this week and it continues into the weekend and won't be over until Sunday night.  Oy!

2.  for preschool every Tuesday/Thursday.  It gives me a chance to run errands all by my lonesome, have quiet visits with my visiting teachers, do housework without interruption, schedule doctor appointments, volunteer at the middle school, etc. (And I might be secretly giddy that next year Preschool class with be 3 days a week!)

3.  for free upgrades.  Went to the car wash for the usual cleaning inside and out.  Even paid a little extra to have the seats cleaned.  They promised me it would take 45 minutes tops.  Over an hour later, I was starting to get frustrated, especially since I had to pick up kids from school. They finally called my name and when I went to my car, the guy told me they upgraded me for free to the full deluxe interior detailing, mostly because it really needed it (gee thanks!)  My car looked brand spanking new.  So even though I was late getting my boys and they had to walk home, it was worth it.  

4.  we live next door to our chapel.  I have a child walk over early every Sunday to save us a seat.  It is so nice I can send the older two off to their weekly activities without having to get into the car for the umpteenth time.  The kids will even walk over sometimes and play basketball in the gym. 

5.  The Project 52 Photography Challenge.  Even though it's WAY out of my comfort zone and almost embarrassing to display my photos in the same category as the other talented participants, I'm hoping it can stretch me a bit further in my photography hobby and develop my skills a lot more.  So check back every Friday for my weekly post in this challenge.
