According to the urban dictionary: Since Adam was created before Eve, the day before Christmas Eve is called Christmas Adam to create further anticipation for Christmas.
I'm taking a little break from marathon wrapping to write my post. Here's what we were up to today.....
1. Laundry, laundry, laundry - Normally I wouldn't be so diligent in getting the laundry caught up before Christmas, but seeing is how we leave early Monday for Utah it's kind of a necessity.
2. Clean, clean, clean - With four kids at home all day, messes are made and bathrooms get dirty twice as fast. Kids weren't incredibly cooperative of course, so I may have threatened to call Santa.
3. Haircuts, haircuts, haircuts - 3 boys+3 stylists+3 haircuts+3 lollipops = 3 well groomed boys.
4. Errands, errands, errands - grocery shopping, the bank, and the pharmacy.
5. Eat, eat, eat - Again, with kids home it seems there's twice as much eating going on. We've been nibbling on Christmas treats and Cuties (those petite clementines.) My kids can't get enough of those. To celebrate Christmas Adam we had family dinner at Cabo mexican restaurant. We wanted Macayo's but it was too far. The sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo on the plates make it Christmasy, right?
6. Lights, lights, lights - After dinner, we drove around in a few neighborhoods to check out all the pretty lights.
7. Wrapping, wrapping, wrapping - I think Andrew finished all of his earlier today. I'm determined to finish mine tonight so I'm not stuck doing any tomorrow. So off I go!
