I'm Baaaacckk!!
I know all 4 of you that read this blog were waiting anxiously for my return to blogging :)
This stomach flu is an epidemic around here. We are one of 30 families in our ward that have been affected by this nasty bug since Saturday. We're all assuming it has something to do with the ward Christmas party, but even people who weren't there have been infected so who knows. Some families have been hit harder than others. I was the only one that got it at our house, but other families had several members down with it. What's the life span on germs like this? I want to breathe a sigh of relief that my kids and husband were spared, but I'm afraid that it still might show up. I've done a lot of disinfecting the last two days, so I pray it's left our house for good. I must say I am a little hesitant to go to church on Sunday and we get reinfected somehow. Maybe they should have hand sanitizer pumps at the chapel doors for everyone.
Now that I'm two days behind on Christmas preparations, I don't think I'll get everything done. I ran errands today with all four kids. After dragging them around Target and Smiths for a couple hours and the constant fighting and whining, I wished I was back in bed with the flu.
*****AS I WAS TYPING THIS POST, MASON WOKE UP WITH A TUMMY ACHE AND PROMPTLY THREW UP ABOUT 2 MINUTES LATER IN THE TOILET. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! IT'S NOT OVER!!! SO IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME, I'M OFF TO TAKE OF MASON.*****

Awwwww.... so sorry! :(
How crappy! I think they should hand out masks at church too, just to be safe:) I'm actually glad we won't be there this Sunday for that very reason! We have been avoiding all of humanity so that we don't get it...haha.
Hope you guys feel better soon!
You need a little button that says I feel ya to go along with too funny, interesting, ect. I totally cleaned EVERYTHING after the 24 hrs thinking we were good and we were all down yesterday. Off to cleaning again. I need to go to Smiths and such too but I'm afraid we will get the germ again. ARRR!! I hope it gets over fast in your family.
you forgot to knock on wood while writing this!! I just hope eveyone is well for Christmas....you could always join your in laws at our ward!!
