December Daily - Day 13

All I want for Christmas is......some blog comments!  (Or are these posts that boring??)

1.  Addressed over 50 Christmas card envelopes tonight and not even halfway done.

2.  A partridge was dropped off on our porch tonight with a little note.  Looks like someone is doing the 12 Days of Christmas for our family.  I am touched that another family picked us for that.  We've never had someone do that for us before.  I look forward to the next 11 nights.

3.  My hubby is a little frustrated about shopping for me for Christmas.  Maybe I'll email him the wish list I made on Amazon to give him ideas???

4.   My daughter informed me today that she needs a white elephant gift for mutual tomorrow night, another one for an exchange with school friends on Thursday, AND another for a party on Friday night.  Seriously??  I was just at Target today - a little advanced notice would've been nice.  I'm thinking she can just go 'shopping' in the house instead and find some weird or funny things to use as gifts.  That or maybe re-gift that Justin Bieber singing toothbrush??  Or maybe I should save that and give it to my Mom for Christmas - she is impossible to shop for.

5.  Tanner LOVES the Christmas song Jingle Bells.  He sings it all the time.  Today however, he was singing a new version:

"Jingle Bells, poo poo smells....."

Hmmm....I'm thinking he didn't make that up himself.   Perhaps something he might have heard an older brother say?

6.  Mason and Tanner were in the holiday spirit tonight.  I found them in the computer room wrapping up pictures they drew and putting them under the tree.  They were so proud of themselves.  At least they could've used Christmas wrapping paper instead of the birthday stuff.

That's all I've got for today folks.....

I love that Mason and Tanner wrapped up pictures!! That's so sweet!!

As for gift ideas for you - a wish list is a great idea! I find that for us, it works best if I don't just drop hints - I just say, "MICHAEL! THIS IS WHAT I WANT!" Then, I get what I want and he doesn't get frustrated. It's a good system. ;)

I was all for letting Taylor use the toothbrush, until you mentioned giving it to your mom. THat would be hilarious. Seriously.

And no, these posts are not boring. It's just a busy time of year... I hate not getting comments too. My blog has been pretty quiet lately, and that's not as fun.

So, is this comment long enough? hahaha!

I signed into terry's amazon account and put a bunch of stuff in the shopping cart so that next time he checked out he would see it. He laughed audibly when he saw the $3000 camera in his cart, a girl can dream right??

keep up the good work, I'm proud of you!
