I sat down to update a dozen times, but life got in the way. Darn you life!!! So I told myself to finally do it tonight, since my last post deals with Christmas - but instead I caught up on all of your blogs instead! It was good though, because it made me felt better that most of you haven't blogged lately either.
I gave the blog a little facelift - removed the music, updated the photos and changed the background...hope you like it. My time is short and I'm already an hour behind on sleep thanks to that darn spring forward....so I'll make this quick and leave you wanting more!
So my blog doesn't feel left out - here is a list of other things that I'm behind on, in no particular order. Some of these can also double as excuses why I haven't blogged........
1. The laundry - I try to do it everyday to keep up, but there's always more waiting for me in the bedroom hampers. (Does anyone really use the word "hamper' except me?)
Totally off subject, but while we're at it - other words/phrases I use that no normal person does.....
jockeybox (glove compartment)
fixin to' (the Texas girl in me)
mutual (YM/YW)
barrette (hair clips)
poopytails (my personal curse word)
That's all I can think of at this late hour - I'm sure my husband could add to this list.
2. My house in general - today marks our 10th month of living in this house, and yet it looks much like it did last summer when we moved in. Cardboard boxes still piled up in the
3. Exercise. Enough said. I'm very behind on that, which is giving me a big behind!!
4. Spending time on my hobbies. I haven't picked up my camera much since Christmas and no time to sit down and organize/file my recipes, work in Photoshop, etc.
5. Dusting. My closet is proof of that.
6. Grocery shopping, meal planning, and keeping my pantry stocked. It seems most trips to the store lately I return with only the essentials - milk, bread, cereal, fruit snacks, soda, water, granola bars, toilet paper, hairspray, and dog food.
7. A pedicure. There is a very good reason why you won't see me in flip flops anytime soon. Guess I better go use that Euphoria Salon gift card he got me for Valentines Day.
Speaking of behinds, mine has gone numb from sitting in this ridiculous kid's size chair that we use as a computer chair so I'm off to bed......

The blog looks great! I am constantly behind on laundry (I have determined that it's impossible to be caught up, so why try?) I use the following words from your list: hamper, jockeybox, mutual. I may pick up poopytails, because I used more traditional curse words. It's a problem. Good luck getting caught up!! :)
1. THANK YOU for your comment on my blog. I don't hardly any at all since we went private. I'm not even sure anyone, even my family, looks at it anymore! So, thank you!
2. I totally use the words jockeybox, hamper, and mutual.
3. I loved this post because I know I'm not the only one who feels like I'm behind on. . . pretty much life :)
4. Hopefully we can get together for the fondue/camera night soon!
5. Andrew told me he needed to call Brett to help with your surround sound. I'm sure he could help. Give us a call.
6. I'm a little bit jealous you have an empty room/library/study in your house. Wish I did :)
7. That is all for now. . .
I feel your pain- I feel ike I'm always behind. no matter what I accomplish!
I use the word mutual, but I think that's it. Jockeybox??! Never heard of that... and poopytails would be MUCH better then the words that slip out of my mouth at times...:)
I feel much better now.... cuz I am in the same boat!! Thank you for the encouraging comment ;) Must. Keep. Going...
Thanks for updating. And Shalae shouldn't go private, cause I used to peak/pique/peek there's the right word-in on their life too.
See, we do all still love you so we come to read WHATEVER you say! Good luck getting caught up - my MIL says it won't happen until the kids leave the house and then you won't care:)
I feel ya. That is all. :)
