What better way to update the 'ole blog then with the traditional back to school pictures!

Taylor started the big, bad, scary middle school this year.  She was super excited and nervous all at the same time.  It took her forever to decide on her first day outfit!  It makes Andrew and I very sad and depressed that she's old enough for middle school.  Her dad keeps telling her to stop growing up but she's clearly not listening!  She is absolutely loving 6th grade (so far..........)

Zach is a big fourth grader this year!  It took him about 2 seconds to figure out what he was wearing on his first day.  He kept asking me if I thought his outfit was 'Cool.'  Of course he's the coolest 4th grader we know!

Mason started Kindergarten this year.  No tears, no goodbye hugs for Mom.  He lined up and went right into his classroom.  He goes in the afternoon and has alot of good friends in his class.  He's not too happy about sitting inbetween two girls everyday however.

Last but not least is little 'Tino.'  Even though his birthday falls 2 weeks after the official cut off date for school, he was still allowed to join a preschool class at Miss Trina's. (THANK GOODNESS)  He put on his new backpack almost everyday asking if it was time to go to school.  He loved his first day and I had to practically drag him away to take him home when it was over.

Tanner is wearing a bandana because his Preschool theme this year is Wild Wild West.

With four kids in three separate schools,  I wasn't looking forward to how much time I was going to be spending in my car.  On preschool days I had 4 different drop offs and then 3 pick ups.  That first week of school was rough.  Just when I got home from taking one kid to school, I would have to leave a little while later to take the next one.  After my fourth and final drop off, I had a whole 2 hours before I had to go and start picking them all up again.  It was nuts.  Luckily I arranged a few carpools, so I've cut it down to half the time.

It's shaping up to be another hectic and crazy school year for us.  It feels good though to be back to a routine and a normal schedule.   The kids love it too, even though they would never admit it.    Having homework every night though I could gladly do without!!  I know the kids would agree with me on that.
