It's Time......

..........for a blog update

..........for a quick Thanksgiving weekend recap:
  • feasts at school
  • watching the Macy's parade
  • Thanksgiving dinner over at David and Jana's house -- YUMMO!!
  • brunch at Mimi's Cafe with all of Andrew's siblings and his parents - except Mark, who we missed :)
  • lots and lots of playing time with cousins
  • afternoon naps
  • 2 days of rain
  • steering clear of all the after Thanksgiving shopping madness
  • our great nephew Drew's baby blessing
  • putting up the outside christmas lights
  • cousin sleepovers
  • tithing settlement and raiding the bishop's candy jars
  • baking cookies and playing Uno
  • attending the Jonas Brothers concert (Taylor went with a friend)
  • watching football, the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special, basketball, Elf, and old reruns of Alf and Coach

..........to pull out the christmas decorations and realize I need some new ones

..........for christmas music on the blog and a nice festive background

..........to watch as many holiday movies as we can

..........to write letters to Santa

..........for ward parties, piano recitals, office parties, school performances, class parties, friend parties, enrichment night, neighbor parties, etc.

..........to spend money we don't have on things we don't need

..........for homemade fudge and divinity

..........for random acts of kindness and Secret Santa deliveries

..........for traditions

..........to find good hiding places around the house for christmas presents

..........to be filled with the spirit of the holidays

What a great holiday!! We had to get new tree ornaments too. I am really loving the holiday season so far! Oh, and I would like to order some fudge. =D

I will be copy cating your blog Christmas music. I love it what a great idea!! I love this season and all that it brings especially the ladies christmas party, I just hope that I'll be able to go with my school schedule and stuff!!

Your blog is so much better than mine. I just do it for my family and get really frustrated with it real quick. I am a facebook chick, I don't look at bloggs....i just run out of time in the day. (escpecially because our one year old has a lot of health problems at the moment)We will have to catch up. I think we are going to a wedding in Feburary, so maybe then?? Dave has family coming for Christmas here. Hyrum gets baptised so should be fun. good to hear from you.esther

I LOVE divinity, my grandma always makes it for Christmas but this year she'll be in Salt Lake on her mission. Sounds like you had a feast or two for Thanksgiving...at least the weather made it feel more like the holidays. Cute new pictures on the side.
