....that my baby is growing up so fast. He'll be 9 months old tomorrow. Tanner is now crawling everywhere and standing up on things. He just discovered the stairs in the last few days and we can't keep him away from them.
....that our fish are still alive. After weeks and weeks of not cleaning the tank or feeding them, they're still swimming. Only two have gone belly up in that time. We're not fish killers (although I do think Andrew secretly wants to get rid of them altogether.)
....that it's time for my 15 year high school reunion. No way I'm old enough for that! I got an email this week saying invitations are going out. Of course I don't plan on attending (it's in Texas and I have no interest in seeing all those beer-drinking crazies) but it makes me realize that those handful of girls that were pregnant at our graduation now have kids that are 15 years old-- so weird.
....that it's been 6 weeks since school got out and in less than 6 weeks school starts again (Woohoo!) The first half of summer seems to have passed by pretty fast. We've had a lot of fun but I think we've hit a lull since coming home from Utah. Me thinks I should start a school countdown ticker on my blog!
....the absolute steal Andrew and his nephew Steve got last week on a very sweet fishing boat. I wasn't too crazy about it at first, but I must say it was a deal too good to pass up. They found it on Craigslist and 48 hours later drove up to Hurricane, Utah and bought it. I won't bore you with all the details, but if you're interested on reading more about it, click here and check out Steve's blog for pictures and to hear all about their adventures.
....that we've been doing our blog for a little over a year now. It was Andrew's idea to start it and at first I thought it was pretty silly - who's gonna want to read about our life? Well here we are a year later and it's great how this blogging thing has reconnected us with so many friends and family both near and far. It's been a great journal of sorts for our family and somewhat therapeutic for me to write down my thoughts and the funny/crazy things my children do.

We're ready for school to start too. Gotta love summer. Your beach vacation is just around the corner though.
Congrats on keeping your fish alive! That's quite an accomplishment. Congrats on the boat! Yea for 1/2 way through summer!! (WOW!)
I wont't feel bad if you are counting the days until school starts again, me too. Its so sad, but being on a schedule and more organization are good for me.
I love reading about your life so keep it up!
If Andrew is such a fisherman, why would he need a "fish" finder? Don't clean the fish bowl or they will die. It happens everytime. Clean water kills them.
