Just wanted to post about the boy's fishing trip on Saturday. Andrew and Zach went with our nephew Stephen up to Eagle Valley, which is outside of Pioche. For those of you that haven't been there, you are missing out!! I myself have very fond memories of Eagle Valley, which I'll talk more about later. Anywho......together they caught 20 fish, but Zach had the highest number of catches with 9. Stephen couldn't believe he got beat by his 6 year old cousin!

Back to my fond memory of Eagle Valley. When the guys got home Saturday night, I was talking to Zach about his day and asked if he had a good time, etc....when he asked me, "Mom, did you almost fall in the lake?" I started laughing because I knew that Andrew and Stephen told him the story. Back in 2001, I went fishing with Andrew and Stephen to Eagle Valley. As I was stepping into the boat I lost my balance and ALMOST fell into the water, but luckily Andrew caught me. I'm glad I didn't fall in because knowing my husband and nephew they would have teased me about that for the rest of my earthly existence!

I still tease you about almost falling into the lake. You literally did the SPLITS, with one foot on the dock and one foot on the boat as the boat slowly glided out. You were lucky Andrew grabbed you because you would have been cold and wet, and we would NOT have terminated the fishing venture because of you being cold and wet...
and yes, Andrew's nephew is almost his same age. Even though he is way more mature than Andrew spiritually, physically, emotionally, and in whatever other way you can think of...
I would have loved to see Hiedi nearly do the splits!
