Easy-Going Weekend

We didn't do anything very exciting for the last "official weekend of summer," but accomplished a lot. Lets see.......we mowed the lawn, cleaned the fish tank, steam-cleaned the carpet, did a little shopping, visited Andrew's mom for her 75th birthday, cheered on the Cougars in the BYU game and baked cookies. (I vow that one of these years during Labor Day weekend, I will make it to Midway, UT for Swiss Days!)
I wanted to share these pictures from Friday night. Taylor was playing at Piercynn's house so we took the boys and went to Famous Footwear. Like every other toddler, Mason loves to put on other people's shoes. Well, inside the store he went nuts. We were in the children's section and I watched as Mason tried on every shoe he could reach. He found these lovely boots------we laughed so hard!!!

I'm so proud that he at least found shoes that matched his outfit!

Now, I need some new shoes pretty badly, but I don't know what I was thinking---trying on new shoes that night with my swollen pregnant ankles. Of course nothing fit right or looked very good on me so I left the store disgusted. Maybe I'll have to wait until after the baby comes to get new shoes :)
