After almost 2 weeks, I finally heard from my OB's office today and found out my glucose tolerance test results were negative.......HOORAY! However, the doctor is a teeny bit concerned that I continue to measure 3 weeks ahead of schedule, so I'm having an ultrasound to make sure the baby's "size isn't greater than the date." I'm not too worried about it--could be I'm headed for another 9 pounder! Maybe I've got Miracle-Gro in my blood or something! It will be kind of fun to have another ultrasound and see the baby's face a little better!
On a completely different note, I have to relay other "good" news.
As a stay-at-home mom even the smallest things are exciting to you. For awhile now, Mason has been telling us when he's messed his diaper. He'll take off his pants, touch his diaper and say, "Cuck- uh." Then he'll run and grab a diaper and I'll change him. Well yesterday, out of the blue he says, "I potty." So I sat him on the toilet and he pooped a little in the potty!! I was clapping my hands and dancing around and he had the biggest smile on his face! Then he got off and flushed and I gave him a few Skittles for being such a big boy!! (We washed our hands first of course) Now I ask you, isn't that the most exciting thing you've heard all day? And before you ask.... No I don't have any pictures to go along with the potty story :)
P.S. ONLY 3 MORE DAYS UNTIL I BECOME A BYU FOOTBALL WIDOW!!!

Hooray for potty training!!!! Yea!!!
Oh, and those "size" ultrasounds are almost always inaccurate, so be wary! Good luck!
That is the most exciting thing I heard all day! Josey still has to wear pullup at night and let me tell you that when they finally get the potty training thing it is a miracle. And I hear you on the BYU thing. Dustin is already planning his first boys only BYU footbal viewing party on Saturday. Boohoo
Oh you poor BYU babies. If your husband wasn't so crazy about such a crazy school you wouldn't be a widow. Just Kidding (not about the school being crazy). Wouldn't it be nice if Mason was potty trained by the time the baby came. That would relieve alot of your stress huh?
Hey if you want to give me your email I will send an attachment that goes through how to change up the background and stuff like that. I just think it's fun to play around with it and I like to change it every so often when I start getting bored looking at the same thing!
It's so funny how we celebrate poop isn't it?! What a life we have. You should move to Arkansas and then you will take care of every sports facination- it's to far to go! Darrell has to watch on the computer or pray they will be shown on our stations or ESPN. Guess we're going to have to become Razorback Hog fans- ewww!
Hi Dixon family! Jon emailed me your link, and what a cute site! I love the quotes, Heidi :) Congratulations on the upcoming new addition to your family. I didn't even know! I guess it's been awhile! (We just started a blog, so you'll have to check it out)
Hey - Jenn still has tickets for this Saturday -- Andrew could see the game IN PERSON!
Good luck with the potty training...
Heidi, our blog template designs were done by Kristen at http://kmhscraphicdesigns.blogspot.com/
Go check it out!
You had a good week with lots of news. I am glad everything is going well for you. So is Jill going to do a shower again for you so we can all go with you to the hospital. I remember when my kids pooped for the first time you just want to jump up and down and call everyone and tell them. Congrats!
Lani, I'm a little afraid to have another baby shower!
Oh, btw - Congrats on your negative glucose test! Hooray!
