What Did You Say?

With kids it's inevitable - mispronounced words. For me, some of the funniest moments in our house are when our children mispronounce words or phrases. I remember years ago when Taylor couldn't pronounce quesadillas and called them "diarrheas" and Zach called pork chops "chork pops."

Well, our Mason is certainly no exception. It's all because of Mason's mispronunciation of Tanner's name that he has the nickname "Tino." It seems Mason has quite a few words in his vocabulary that he says in his own little cute way. I had to document them because they are too funny.

  • hand sanitizer is "hannahtizer" - apparently a popular brand with Hannah Montana

  • hot dogs are "hop dogs"

  • garage is "magrawge"

  • my dad isn't referred to as Grandpa Watts, he is "Crampa Utah"

  • Zach and Mason watch Star Wars: the Clone Wars cartoon every Friday night. When Mason says it however, it sounds more like "Star Wars: the Clone Horse" which would be a differently show entirely

The most memorable mispronunciation of Mason' s though is something he has grown out of saying (thank goodness!) It was back when we added a sucker fish to our aquarium. He would stand at the fish tank and say it over and over and over again. I'm sure y'all are smart enough to figure that one out on your own...........

Alright let me try this again in english. Our friend's little 2 year old calls CiCi's pizza, Feces Pizza. Doesn't that sound great! Zach looked so handsome in his little suit! Jace gets baptized in June, before you know it they'll be on missions. MiMi's is a good idea- how did it work out?

When Emma was little she got a teddy bear as a present. Gary named it "Oso" which is bear in Spanish. But whenever Emma said his name it sounded like she was swearing. Love these kind of memories.
