The good news - this week is finally over and the weekend is here.
The bad news - If anything could have gone wrong this week for me, it did. A child sick with the flu, a terribly messy house, husband gone late every night, Zachary having high blood sugars at school, computer breaking down, loads of laundry, a baby that wanted to be held all the time, phone ringing off the hook, and so on and so on.
The good news - I had my CT scan on Wednesday and after weeks of worrying, they said my liver and gallbladder look fine and for now I don't require gallbladder surgery.
The bad news - they did find one little kidney stone but hey, I've had those before and that I can deal with!
The good news - After weeks of seeing doctors and tests, I think I'm done for awhile.
The bad news - all the medical bills that are now showing up in our mailbox!
The good news - In my neverending quest to get in better shape, I went on a bike ride this morning with some friends and even though it was very tough (I haven't been on a bike in years!) I finished and by the end we had gone 9 miles!!
The bad news - I can't feel anything from my waist down!!!
Thanks girls for sticking with me :)

I'm so happy everything is ok with gallbladder and stuff- dr. bills suck!
Sorry for the bad week! Yea for no surgery and a 9 mile bike ride! Boo for medical bills!
I am glad everything went okay with the doctor. Good luck getting in shape. I am always happy for the weekend.
I am so glad the CT scan went while. Great job on a 9 mile bike ride that is a long way. Hope this week has more ups then downs.
Glad to hear your health is okay. I love biking too. That is great that you did 9 miles! I always have my kids (70lbs worth) in the trailer and man, that sure adds some resistance! Hope you had a good weekend.
The Good News is that you're healthy, motivated, and positive. The Bad News is you need all those qualities to help you through the bad news. Good luck on the laundry, that sounds worse that the bike ride!
Hootie, i was just kidding, you can tag me anytime
I am glad they found out it wasn't your gallbladder. So are they just going to see if the kidney stone passes?
I like your good news better than your bad! At least your bad news wasn't REALLY bad news!
Darcie,
they referred me to yet another doctor for the kidney stone, but I'm done with doctors for awhile - I've had them before and they eventually passed.
Yeah for bike rides! I promise the back side pain gets better.
I love that you have found the good in your bad week, it's a good reminder of how I should be too. I'm so glad that your news from the doctor is good too.
