Welcome to the 'Christmas Edition' of getting to know your friends.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift bags
2. Tree-- Real or Artificial? I prefer real, but we currently have an artificial one
3. When do you put the Christmas tree up? first few days of of December
4. When do you take the tree down? After New Years
5. Like eggnog? Yes
6. Do you have a nativity scene? I have one, but it's not displayed this year (2 year old would destroy it!)
7. Hardest person to buy for? It's a toss up between my parents and Andrew's parents. Usually do the same thing every year---framed picture of the kids
8. Easiest person to buy for? this year---baby Tanner
9. Worst Christmas gift? Can't think of any right now
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail
11. Favorite Christmas movie? That's easy---White Christmas
12. Favorite Christmas song? Silent Night
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Uh, last week...but that's early for me. Last couple years I didn't do any shopping until the week before Christmas
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Recycled a white elephant gift the other night--if I don't like the Christmas gift I just return it to the store
15. Favorite food to eat on Christmas? Hard to say--we eat dinner with Andrew's family on Christmas day and the last few years the menu has been different each time...but I do love the homemade rolls, creamed corn, and bacon wrapped chestnuts we've had in the past
16. Clear or colored tree lights? I like clear lights on the tree, colored lights on the outside of the house
17. Travel during Christmas or stay home? Stay home
18. Can you name Santa's reindeer? Gosh, I think so if I sing the song
19. Angel or Star on tree top? A gold bow
20. Open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? one gift on Christmas Eve (usually our gift from Andrew's parents,) then the rest Christmas morning
21. Most annoying thing about this time of year? when something you want is sold out, or rude people in the stores
22. Best Christmas present? As a child: a Cabbage Patch doll. As a teenager/young adult: our trips to Hawaii. As an adult: my camera I got last year
23. Favorite Christmas tradition? Having soup on Christmas Eve, setting out cookies for Santa and just being together as a family at home
